The sale is for one day only and all items purchased

during the sale must be removed that day.

Please note that there are some items in the house

that will not be for sale. There are also additional

items that may have previously been sold.

9/11 Ten Year Anniversary Events

Unite and Remember 9/11 at the 1st Annual Freedom Festival in Chesapeake, VA. 

The  Festival will start on Thursday, September 8, 2011 and will continue till Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Chesapeake City Park on Greenbrier Parkway.  The Buddy Bagley stage will come alive with the sounds of national and local recording artists. The great lawn at the foot of the stage will be the perfect location for sponsors and vendors to showcase their products to our guests as we honor America’s Heroes.

The lives of every American were changed on the morning of 9-11. The mission of the Virginia Freedom Festival is to honor the thousands of innocent victims of that tragic day. Additionally, we will honor the brave men and women of our military and public safety organizations who give of themselves day after day to protect us.

The City of Virginia Beach will Commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11 at the 24th Street Park on Sunday, September 11, 2011 beginning at 1:30pm. 2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 16: Open for Tours

 
Time to celebrate! The 2011 Ultimate Coastal Living House is open for tours! All the anxious waiting can stop, you can finally walk through & take in this masterpiece.

 After all the hard work, hot days and the stress it was time to put down the hammer, grab a glass of wine and eat tasty hors d’œuvres at the Coastal Living Grand Opening Party. Mayors, Councilmen, and anyone who had a hand in this beautiful project was there to marvel and celebrate.

 
We know you have been waiting for this moment, where you can finally step in this beach dream house. Tours are going on now till November 27th, Wednesday – Saturday 11am – 5pm & Sundays 1pm – 5pm.

You can get tickets at The East Beach Sales Office Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Sat. & Sun 1-5   We will accept credit cards & cash.

2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 15: Moving Day

It’s Moving Day! The Coastal Living House is hustling and bustling with movers and interior decorators. Soon the house will be filled with the perfect handpicked art & furniture. After everything is moved in and put to place, photographers will shoot the inside for a spread in the Coastal Living Magazine. From what we can tell the décor is quite fitting for a house on beach, we are anxious to see it fully finished, we know you are too!

 
After all the hard work of moving and arranging, a beautiful beach sunset leaving a full moon graces the sky…

2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 14: Refreshing Colors

 
As we make it through these brutal hot days we are refreshed by the beautiful splashes of colors inside the Coastal Living House, from aqua blues to relaxing browns, wallpaper and paint are really living up the place.  If the calming colors don’t cool you off try the recently added Bosch Wine Fridge. Bosch is known for their great green energy efficient appliances. The house also features a gas stove, refrigerator, & washer and dryer by Bosch.

Things are just about done for the Coastal Living House, the grass has been put in, landscape lighting from Bevolo has been installed and I just heard from one of the Interior Decorators that they are headed over here to move in some furniture. July 29^th is coming up fast…Get ready!!!

2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 13: Final Count Down

The Ultimate Coastal Living House is a week or so from being complete and then will be ready to be turned over to the Coastal Living Interior Decorators! So as we count down to the turn over, last minute installations and touches are getting done.

 On the exterior, light Fixtures have been completely installed, the irrigation system is nearly complete, all outside painting is done & the landscaping should be completed by the end of this week.

 For the interior, all cabinetry, flooring, doors and hardware are complete. Painting is near the end and all plumbing fixtures and sinks have been installed.

 We are just merely days away until the brilliant interior decorators coordinate the gorgeous final pieces of this house & yes we are pretty giddy about it!

2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 12

 
On this stormy day, things are still looking bright and sunny for the Coastal Living House. All flooring in the house is complete and looking spectacular! The outdoor fire place, which is my favorite part of the Coastal living site is done and ready for its 1^stBBQ get together. Late night s’mores anyone?

 
As I walked through the house earlier this morning I couldn’t help but notice all the detail in  the ceilings all quite unique, defiantly takes the rooms up a notch.

 
Today the exterior shutters are being delivered, one of the final touches to the outside of the house and this week counter tops will start to be installed.

2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 11

Happy Flag Day! As we celebrate the adoption of United States Flag today, we at East Beach are also celebrating the marvel of watching the 2011 Coastal Living House construct and we are amazed how fast & efficient everything is progressing. July 29^th is the official opening day of the Coastal Living house and its right around the corner! Most of the exterior painting is nearly complete & all of the interior painting is fully done and looking spectacular. The prefinished hardwood flooring on the 1^st floor will be installed this week, the brick fireplace at the south patio will be completed at the end of the week & the Ceramic tiles in all bathrooms have been installed. We defiantly think that’s something to celebrate on this grand ol’ day.

2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 11: Turning up the Heat

 

Pets are inside & people are cranking up their air conditioning due to the hot 90 degree weather Norfolk is enduring. It’s not just the weather that’s cranking up the heat; the builders of the 2011 Coastal Living House are on fire! Seems like everything is coming up to the final touches, light fixtures, cabinets, tile, and railings are all installed and looking beyond fabulous.

 The gorgeous hardwood floors are being put down in a few days and the AZEK decking is almost complete. On the outside, the tree hedging, fence and Belgard Pavers are just about finished too. Looks like turning up the heat in this case is a good thing that deserves a glass of cold lemonade.
